WELCOME TO THE PULSEPOINT SUDDEN CARDIAC ARREST AWARENESS MONTH RESOURCE TOOLBOX
Here you will find ideas and resources to educate your citizens on Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA), including the difference between SCA and a heart attack, and the important role of CPR, AEDs and PulsePoint in the community. Here are some ideas to get you started!
Coffee Sleeves
It’s pumpkin spice season! Leverage your community’s coffee habit by branding coffee sleeves to be distributed to area coffee shops featuring PulsePoint download information, details about SCA awareness month or local CPR training opportunities. We are happy to create the art template for you!
Sporting and Entertainment Venues
Is your community football crazy? Many professional, college and even high school teams have community marketing opportunities during games. Leverage public service nights, homecomings or other themed events to partner with them to increase awareness. Connect with your local movie theaters and ask about “First Look” or other pre-show marketing opportunities. They might even be willing to donate the time this October. Use one of our “in the can” PSAs!

Want to show your community is PulsePoint connected? We have PulsePoint Connected apparatus decals for your fleet. Email shannon@pulsepoint.org for more information.
Handout Cards and Envelope Stuffers
Are you hosting trick-or-treaters at your stations? Consider handing out PulsePoint post cards or business cards along with sweet treats. Contact graphic designer jason.batts@pulsepoint.org to request your halloween-themed PulsePoint marketing materials today! Use our ready-to-go template to create a water bill or pay stub insert about PulsePoint. Send them out as part of your normal mailings.
Community Groups
Engage your local service or community groups (PTA, Boy/Girl Scouts, veterans, hospital volunteers, etc.) to take CPR classes, register AEDs and download PulsePoint.
Check with your local billboard companies (Adams, Outdoor, Fairway, Lamar, etc.) to see if they would be willing to donate screen time on their digital billboards. We have dynamic templates, with live data connections to your latest stats, ready to go. Contact shannon@pulsepoint.org for more information.

October is Sudden Cardiac Arrest Awareness Month. Sudden cardiac arrest can happen to anyone, at any age, at any time. Survival rates outside the hospital are dismal--less than 10%. This October learn CPR and download PulsePoint. Help save a life! #SCAAMonth
Become a lifesaver by learning CPR and downloading @pulsepoint this month when we celebrate Sudden Cardiac Arrest Awareness. Nolan was just 5 weeks old when his life was saved by a PulsePoint responder. #SCAAMonth
