Transport Layer Security (TLS) version 1.2

On April 1, 2020 we updated our endpoints to a minimum of Transport Layer Security (TLS) version 1.2. This update revoked the ability to use TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 on all API server communications. These changes were made to protect data integrity in transit and to meet the security requirements of our public safety agencies and industry partners such as AWS and FirstNet. This affects all dispatch system integrations and Android devices version 4.x.x or earlier.

What is Transport Layer Security (TLS)?
